About Soft Brain Theatre Company: Â Soft Brain Theatre Company (SBTC) was founded as a direct response to the post-pandemic theatre landscape in New York City. Started by a group of NYU Tisch School of the Arts pandemic graduates who are fiercely passionate about physical acting, SBTC aims to bring laughter, joy, and playfulness back to audiences in a way that both resurrects a childhood sense of wonder, and gently reflects on the current cultural context. The purpose of SBTC is to remind audiences of the necessity of Play, and to encourage them to welcome more lightness of heart and softer thoughts into our ever-hardening world.
